We’re Dr. Nathan Dean and Dr. Ahmad Almohtadi, two resident doctors based in London. Nathan graduated with a First class degree from Cambridge and has years of experience teaching medical students, while Ahmad secured one of the UK’s most competitive medical school spots as an international student, later ranking as the top residency candidate nationwide.
We met over coffee in a busy hospital café, reflecting on our different paths into the same residency and a shared drive to build successful, well-rounded careers. That’s what inspired Medic Launchpad: a way to support the next generation of doctors - our future colleagues - by helping them get into top UK medical schools and launch successful, fulfilling medical careers.
